Orange County Council High Adventure Team
Bring High Adventure to Your Troop
Dream Big - Grow Farther
Cottonwood Pass, Eastern Sierras
This website is provided by the Orange County Council High Adventure Team. We are a group of volunteer Scouters who enjoy backpacking and working together to inspire troops to adopt high adventure activities, provide training to adult leaders, and develop & sponsor trail awards.
Please take a look through our site to get inspired (we hope) and get engaged.
Our team meets at Orange County Council headquarters on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm. All registered Scouters are welcome to join us. At our meetings we discuss problems encountered by Scouters and ways to solve them, BSA policy changes, governmental policy changes, improvements to our training programs, and new High Adventure award ideas.

The Awards
The Southern California BSA Councils have a rich tradition, dating back to more than 50 years, of inspiring scouts to pursue high adventure. Awards are designed and supported by the volunteer efforts of our local councils, and they act as an invaluable component to any troop's high adventure program.
